The Team

 

We have been blessed with a great team. Our staff believes that communication is the key to a good working relationship. we like to share ideas and collaberate ideas and ways to improve. Let's take a moment to introduce them to you.

Scott Bates is our Director. He started with us in November of 2018 as the Office Manager but took over as the Director in April of 2020 when Lauren Gibbs retired. Scott has had experience working with various non-profit businesses and was trained by Lauren for a seemless transition when she retired. As the Director, Scott is responsible for making sure the company is compliant with all local, state, and federal laws concerning the Workshop as well as overseeing the day to day operations of the company. 

Claudia Smith is our Office Assistant and joined the team in May of 2020. She is usually the voice you hear when you call the company and the person that deals with all things 
human resource, finance, and billing department related. Claudia has several years experience in the Workshop setting and is a great asset to have on the team.

Stephanie Hasty joined the team in July 2020. Working as the Back Room Supervisor, she is responsible for making sure donations are sorted, cleaned, hung, and priced correctly and efficiently. She is the driving force behind keeping the employees working and getting the products out to the floor.

Beth Matthews is our Thrift Store Supervisor and joined our team in November of 2019. She takes care of making sure the front end of the Thrift Store is running good. She cuts the deals, sets the sales, and makes sure we have plenty of merchandise on the floor for the customer to buy. 

Roger Stevens is our Fleet Manager and Truck Driver. He came to the team in January of 2020 and has been an intregal part of keeping our vehicle running and maintained in order to get shipments where they need to go. He tracks all of maintenance and records as well as deliveries and pick ups.
